Shawn Dowd is a full-time, full service Realtor.  She believes her SUCCESS is in her CLIENTS' SATISFACTION. Finding the perfect home is one of life's greatest moments. Selling your home can be a rewarding experience as well. However, both can pose many challenges along the way.  Shawn considers it an honor and privilege to work diligently and tirelessly to ensure that your journey is as pleasurable and stress free as possible. Shawn and her family have lived in the Chicago Suburban area (Naperville/Aurora, Plano/Yorkville and Forest Park) since 1996, and her husband was born and raised in Chicago. Shawn has relocated, bought, sold, rented and been a landlord of personal properties.  She has bought new construction and older homes, had FHA and conventional loans, been a 1st time homebuyer and an investor, and has experience with the foreclosure and short-sale process.  Shawn’s passion and expertise in real estate, along with her drive and determination make her a great Broker/Agent!

Shawn and her husband Daniel have five beautiful children, attending Northwestern University (Evanston), Metea Valley High, Still Middle and Owen Elementary schools in District 204. When she is not working hard for her clients, she can usually be found attending a football or volleyball game, a gymnastics or track meet, or spending quality time with family and friends around Chicago and Suburbs.
