Meet Agent

My business card might say "Real Estate Broker," but I like to consider myself a “Happy Home Finder.” I grew up in the Southwest Suburbs of Chicago and have spent the last 7 years as a Plainfield resident, where I settled into my very own ‘happy home.’ Without my own peaceful sanctuary, I doubt I could ever be as joyful, understanding, and successful as I am today.

Over the last 14 years, I worked in the healthcare industry focusing primarily on behavioral health management. I loved what I did and realized I was making a positive impact in my client’s lives by truly getting to know them, which often meant better understanding their life at home. Early on, I learned that if my client didn’t have a peaceful, healthy foundation to call home, many other areas of their life were negatively affected. When the opportunity presented itself for me to transition into the world of real estate, I knew the skills I had gained in my former career would transfer well into my new role.

Working in real estate has also given me the chance to let my personality shine. Every day I’m able to be my authentic self, use my listening and investigative skills, and work with my heart. Because of this, I’ve been able to form wonderful working relationships with clients and business partners, many of whom I now consider my friends.

I find joy in volunteering and giving back to the local communities that I’ve called home for so many years. You may have spotted me shaving heads at the St. Baldrick’s Foundation charity events, volunteering my time with the Rotary Club at Plainfield Fest, or perhaps showering you with goodies at one of the many car shows or parades alongside the Plainfield Chamber of Commerce. On Sunday mornings, you can find me at Community Christian Church, serving and greeting with the Celebrate Team, or spending time with little ones in Kids City. I also enjoy participating in my weekly small group, where I recently discovered I’m an Enneagram Seven “The Entertaining Optimist.” I’m a member of the Mainstreet Organization of Realtors, the Illinois Realtors, and the National Association of Realtors. I’m also a Disney fanatic! You’ll often catch me sporting my Minnie Mouse bows on Mainstreet or singing and dancing to one of my favorite Disney tunes. I’m always looking for new destinations to explore and adventures to be had. After all, life is really all about making lasting memories!

As cliché as it sounds, the saying “work doesn’t feel like work if you love what you do” absolutely applies to me. I consider myself truly blessed to play a role in helping others find the home of their dreams, and also watching them grow throughout their journey. Real estate, after all, is all about people and I’m a natural when it comes to connecting and networking. I believe everything happens for a reason and with the right amount of knowledge, trust, and communication, I’m confident I can help anyone find their very own ‘happy home!’
