That’s why we’ve created an initiative called jg Cares. Our goal is to raise additional support for, as well as awareness of, the many worthy local organizations and causes deserving of our collective attention and effort.

On May 1, a group of john greene Realtor brokers and staffers were especially happy to volunteer at the jg Cares Day of Giving at the Ronald McDonald House® near Central DuPage Hospital in Winfield, IL. Ronald McDonald House Charities® of Chicagoland & Northwest Indiana recently celebrated their 40th anniversay—and so did john green Realtor! The jg Cares team spent the morning preparing and serving a lunch buffet for familes with patients at nearby pediatric hospitals.

After a morning of food prep, chopping, slicing, and dicing, the jg Cares team took a break to show the fruits of their labor. A “home away from home” for families of hospitalized children, Ronald McDonald House Charities® of Chicagoland & Northwest Indiana opened their fifth Ronald McDonald House® in January 2015. The Central DuPage Ronald McDonald House® has a Craftsmen style design and features 12 private guest rooms, living and play areas, and an expansive kitchen and dining area.

The House provides hospitality and support to families with pediatric patients at Central DuPage Hospital Winfield campus, Delnor Hospital in Geneva, and the CDH Cancer Center and Northwestern Medicine Chicago Proton Center in Warrenville.

Throughout the year,  the john greene Realtor team (and their families, friends and loved ones!) remain committed to giving back through a combination of financial and volunteer support.  We are so humbled at the range of charities and programs that our team has participated in over the years and the collective impact that has been made.
